FAQ

Everything you need to know about the NFC Google review card - how it works, what phones it supports, and how to set it up for your business.

How does the NFC review card work?

The card holds an NFC chip and a printed QR code that both point to your Google review page. A customer taps the card with their phone or scans the code, and your review page opens instantly so they can leave a Google review in seconds.

Do my customers need to download an app?

No. There is no app required for you or your customers. Tapping the card or scanning the QR code opens the review link in the phone's own browser.

Which phones does it work with?

Tap-to-review works on most modern iPhones and Android phones with NFC turned on. For older phones, the QR code on the card covers everyone else - every smartphone with a camera can scan it.

How do I set up my review card?

Your card arrives with setup instructions: connect it to your Google review page in a few minutes - no technical skills needed.

Can I change my Google review link later?

Yes - the NFC chip is rewritable with a free NFC app on any NFC-capable phone. The printed QR code stays as it was set, so most businesses point both at their Google review page from day one.

Where should I place the review card?

Wherever customers pay, wait, or say thank you: next to the register, on tables, at the front desk, on a menu stand, or handed over at the end of a home service call. The adhesive backing sticks to counters, walls, and vehicles.

Is asking for Google reviews allowed?

Yes - Google allows businesses to ask customers for reviews, and the card simply makes asking easy and consistent. What is never allowed is paying for reviews or posting fake ones, and this card does neither: every review comes from a real customer's own phone and Google account.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed in 1-3 business days and typically arrive within 7-15 days in the United States, with free standard shipping and tracking. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
